Role Overview

We are looking for a Scrum Master with 6 months to 1 year of experience who can support our product, engineering, design, QA, and business teams in planning, tracking, and delivering work efficiently.
This role is open for both full-time and part-time candidates. The ideal candidate should have a basic understanding of Agile and Scrum practices, strong coordination skills, and the ability to keep teams organized and aligned.
At GoSuper EdTech, we use Zoho products for project management, sprint tracking, task management, bug tracking, documentation, and team collaboration, similar to how other companies use Jira. The Scrum Master will be expected to work with tools such as Zoho Sprints, Zoho Projects, Zoho BugTracker, Zoho Cliq, Zoho WorkDrive, Zoho Sheet, and related Zoho products.

This role is ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and interested in building a career in Agile project management, product coordination, and SaaS product delivery.

What You’ll Do

  • Facilitate daily standups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and team coordination meetings.
  • Support product and engineering teams in planning, organizing, and tracking sprint activities.
  • Create, update, assign, and monitor tasks using Zoho project management tools.
  • Maintain sprint boards, task lists, milestones, timelines, bug trackers, and project dashboards in Zoho.
  • Track feature progress, bugs, blockers, dependencies, pending tasks, and delivery risks.
  • Coordinate with product managers, developers, designers, QA teams, and business stakeholders to ensure clarity on tasks and priorities.
  • Help teams follow Agile and Scrum practices in a practical, startup-friendly way.
  • Assist in backlog grooming, sprint preparation, task prioritization, and release coordination.
  • Prepare meeting notes, sprint updates, progress summaries, action-item trackers, and weekly reports.
  • Follow up with team members to ensure tasks are updated and deadlines are visible.
  • Identify delays, blockers, and risks, and escalate them to the right stakeholders when required.
  • Support documentation using Zoho WorkDrive, Zoho Writer, Zoho Sheet, or similar tools.
  • Help maintain transparency across teams by keeping project information updated and organized.
  • Contribute to improving internal workflows, sprint discipline, reporting habits, and team communication.

What We’re Looking For

  • 6 months to 1 year of experience as a Scrum Master, Project Coordinator, Agile Coordinator, Product Coordinator, Business Analyst, or similar role.
  • Basic understanding of Agile, Scrum, sprint planning, and software development workflows.
  • Familiarity with Scrum ceremonies such as daily standups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Hands-on experience or willingness to work with Zoho products for task tracking and project management.
  • Ability to use tools similar to Jira, especially Zoho Sprints, Zoho Projects, Zoho BugTracker, or related platforms.
  • Good understanding of task status, priority, ownership, deadlines, blockers, bugs, and dependencies.
  • Strong communication, coordination, and follow-up skills.
  • Ability to work with developers, designers, QA, product managers, and business stakeholders.
  • Good documentation and meeting management skills.
  • Basic understanding of the software development life cycle.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to keep project information organized.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, meetings, and timelines.
  • Problem-solving mindset and willingness to take ownership of project coordination.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environment.

Full-Time Responsibilities

  • For full-time candidates, the role will involve deeper ownership of sprint operations, daily team coordination, project tracking, reporting, and cross-functional delivery support.
  • Full-time Scrum Masters will be expected to work closely with teams throughout the day, maintain project dashboards, follow up on blockers, coordinate releases, and support multiple product or engineering workflows.

Part-Time Responsibilities

  • For part-time candidates, the role will focus on structured sprint support, task tracking, meeting coordination, blocker follow-ups, reporting, and documentation.
  • Part-time Scrum Masters should be available for key meetings such as daily standups, sprint planning, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and important coordination calls. The role requires disciplined follow-up and timely updates even within limited working hours.

Nice to Have

  • Scrum Master certification or Agile training.
  • Experience using Zoho Sprints, Zoho Projects, Zoho BugTracker, Zoho Cliq, Zoho WorkDrive, Zoho Sheet, or Zoho Analytics.
  • Experience working with software development, SaaS, EdTech, or AI-based product teams.
  • Basic understanding of UI/UX, QA testing, development cycles, bug tracking, and release workflows.
  • Experience preparing sprint reports, project dashboards, weekly updates, or milestone reports.
  • Familiarity with tools such as GitHub Projects, Notion, Google Workspace, Slack, ClickUp, Trello, Asana, or similar platforms.
  • Prior internship, freelance, or academic project experience in Agile project management or product coordination.
  • Experience supporting remote or hybrid teams.
  • Interest in product management, technology operations, startup execution, and SaaS delivery.

What You’ll Gain

  • Hands-on experience managing real SaaS and EdTech product workflows in a startup environment.
  • Practical exposure to Agile, Scrum, sprint planning, backlog management, and release coordination.
  • Experience working with Zoho-based project management systems similar to Jira.
  • Mentorship from product, engineering, and business leaders.
  • Opportunity to work closely with cross-functional teams and understand complete product development cycles.
  • Learning opportunities in SaaS, AI, EdTech, project management, and product operations.
  • Exposure to real business problems, live users, and high-impact product delivery.
  • A feedback-driven environment that encourages ownership, learning, and continuous improvement.
  • Access to Cult Elite and Cult Play Pass, offering wellness and lifestyle benefits to keep you energized and inspired.

Compensation

  • Competitive compensation based on role type, availability, experience, skillset, and contribution.
  • For full-time candidates, the package may include fixed compensation, performance-based bonuses, and equity participation through ESOPs.
  • For part-time candidates, compensation will be structured based on working hours, responsibilities, and project involvement.

Benefits

  • Flexible remote work options with occasional Bengaluru office meetups.
  • Opportunity to work with product, engineering, design, QA, and business teams.
  • Hands-on exposure to Zoho-based project management workflows.
  • Learning and development support to help you grow in Agile, Scrum, product coordination, and project management.
